Big news! You can now track Instagram Reels in Zoomph!
Reels were originally introduced in 2020 as Instagram’s answer to the short-form video craze, although now they encompass a wide range of video formats on the app. Meta added Reels to Instagram’s latest API update, so Zoomph is now pulling, tracking and evaluating social and partner performance for Reels.
Here’s an overview of what Reels metrics will be available in Zoomph:
Instagram recently announced that eventually all new videos under 15 minutes will be uploaded as Reels, so this is likely how Zoomph will measure a lot of Instagram video content going forward. Additionally, given the Head of Instagram’s reiteration of Instagram’s focus on video, it’ll likely be increasingly important to measure Reels performance.
Zoomph’s priority is providing clients first-class data, which means staying on top of the ever-evolving social media formats. Adding Reels to the platform was an important step in providing our clients comprehensive Instagram performance and partnership data to keep them ahead of the curve.
