24 Apr Meet the Team: Morgan Kelly, Sales Director
At Zoomph, we know that innovation starts with people. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight the talented minds that help define our mission and support your goals. Our “Meet the Team” Q&A series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people driving our success, highlighting their skills, insights, and unique perspectives. Get to know the people that shape our culture and power Zoomph.
Starting simple, give us your backstory and how you’ve gotten to your place today at Zoomph.
I was the new kid at seven different schools growing up in Saudi Arabia, Texas, and Illinois. My dad worked for Saudi Aramco, which took us around the world and gave me a true sense of what it meant to be part of a global community from a very early age. I have to think that standing in countless long lines at customs and embassies planted the idea that the Foreign Service was my destiny—so I pursued a degree in International Studies at Michigan State University.
Before heading to grad school, I decided to test the creative waters of film production in California. My arrival in San Francisco happened to coincide with the explosion of Dot-com 1.0, which almost overnight pulled me off film sets and into the city’s booming startup scene—where I designed, coded, and produced web content.
After the dot-com bust, ad agencies became my lifeline as they looked to build out their digital capabilities. When my last agency was on the brink of collapse, I made the leap to the tech side of the business—and I haven’t looked back since.
The entirety of my MarTech adventure has taken place here in Chicago, alongside my amazing wife and two boys.
What does a day in your life at Zoomph look like?
I’m just one month in, ramping up, and still (heavily) drinking from the broken fire hydrant that is Zoomph’s suite of solutions—and, of course, the niche world of sports marketing. Let’s just say my curiosity is in overdrive.
What is your favorite part about working at Zoomph?
Hands down, it’s the open culture—full of smart, warm people who show up to every conversation without ego and with genuine passion for what they’re building. It’s infectious! And being embedded in the world of sports, Zoomph truly embodies the team spirit in everything we do to win the day. I’m excited to jump in soon and contribute wherever I can.

What is a professional accomplishment that you are extremely proud of?
I’ve helped land Fortune 100 accounts and worked with some of the largest performance media agencies on the planet—but one accomplishment that will always stand out is getting to work side-by-side with my dad. Together, we launched an online classifieds and affiliate marketing site just months after Google rolled out AdSense (yes, I’m dating myself!).
That little venture required us to build everything from the ground up, which led to some unforgettable moments—and even put a couple of bucks in our pocket. Most importantly, I learned the virtues of patience from my old man through the experience.
What is one goal you’re currently working towards professionally?
I’m a natural-born seller, so I’m all about trying to improve myself by 1% every day. It’s a cliché—but like most clichés, it’s true, especially for the marathon of Martech.
What is your favorite product function or tip you can share about Zoomph’s platform?
The transparent Brand Value metric along with the Benchmarking reports, but ask me in Q4 when I’m completely fluent in Zoomph!
Why are you a believer in Zoomph and its product?
It’s the integrity Zoomph brings to the table—through both its people and its product—paired with a clear vision for the long game. Keep an eye on us; I believe we’ll deliver the success and scale needed to continue leading in the sponsorship measurement space.

What are your favorite sports teams?
Michigan State Spartans, Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Blackhawks.
Do you have any pets? Tell us everything you want us to know about them.
Two wild and crazy mixed terriers: Amber and Lucy. I said I would never have a lap dog, and now I have two! And now they have me in the palm of their paw.
Give a shout-out to a team or brand campaign that has gotten your attention recently.
In commemoration of the 40th anniversary, I recently re-watched Apple’s Macintosh 1984 Super Bowl commercial. It’s as relevant as ever. Our marketing team even told me they’re going to post it below for you to enjoy!
