Meet the Team: Megan Grzesiak, Senior Solutions Manager

At Zoomph, we know that innovation starts with people. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight the talented minds that help define our mission and support your goals. Our “Meet the Team” Q&A series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people driving our success, highlighting their skills, insights, and unique perspectives. Get to know the people that shape our culture and power Zoomph.

Tell us about your background and what led you to Zoomph:

I was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. I went to Virginia Tech, where I lived the best of both worlds – I cheered for two years and worked in the Athletic Department for two years. I always knew I wanted to work in sports from there, but I ended up working in wealth management to start my career after graduating. I was studying for the CFP when I had the light bulb moment that I absolutely did not want to work in finance for the rest of my career. I switched gears and attended Columbia University to get my Master’s in Sports Management. During one of my classes, I was introduced to Amir and James, and shortly after, started with Zoomph!

Tell us about your role at Zoomph:

I am lucky to have the greatest pleasure of welcoming our new clients to Zoomph and getting them onboarded into the platform. My role is focused on making sure our new clients have everything they need to be successful with their partnership with Zoomph. I love being able to meet and get to know our clients; we work with some of the greatest people in the industry! I am also a nerd about our platform. I really enjoy being able to build out custom solutions based on specific needs and then teaching clients how that works in the tool and how they can most efficiently get the data they need.

What is your favorite part about working at Zoomph?

The people! Everyone at Zoomph is so passionate and dedicated to what we’re doing that it makes the work that much better. The daily calls of checking in with work items, but also recapping the last Survivor episode, make working remotely not feel so far away.

What is a professional accomplishment that you are proud of?

While I (quickly) realized finance was not the passion or career for me, I am really proud of passing the Series 7, 63, and 66. I took these tests a few months after graduating from college with a degree in Public Relations and almost zero knowledge about the financial industry, much less how to discuss investment plans.

What is your favorite product function or tip you can share about Zoomph’s platform?

Data Manager is a new tool we recently launched to track all accounts, campaigns, and partners. We previously used third-party tools for this tracking, but moving this inside the platform helps organize it and use the data in more efficient ways. I’m excited about the next variations of Data Manager on the roadmap that will allow us to automatically identify which logos are trained and add additional automations – more to come!

Do you have any tips / or a best practice that will help users get the most out of Zoomph?

After every platform training call, I always tell clients to dive in and play around in the tool. It’s the best way to learn how to view the data, but also understand how you like to see and report on it.

What is the first sporting event you can remember attending? Is there anything special about that memory?

I was seven when I attended my first Virginia Tech football game against LSU. I told my parents that day that I was going to go to school there and cheer there.

What is your favorite thing about the city you live in?

I loved how walkable everything is! Even though Charlotte is a large city (and growing by the day!), it still feels small with how close everything is.

What is the best TV show you have watched this year?

I just binged The Girlfriend over two days during Thanksgiving break. It is so good!
