At Zoomph, we know that innovation starts with people. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight the talented minds that help define our mission and support your goals. Our “Meet the Team” Q&A series offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people driving our success, highlighting their skills, insights, and unique perspectives. Get to know the people that shape our culture and power Zoomph.
Starting simple, give us your backstory and how you’ve gotten to your place today at Zoomph.
I grew up in a lake town just outside of St. Louis. I went on to attend the University of Notre Dame, where I worked with Fighting Irish Media, Notre Dame Athletics’ in-house media team, contributing to live broadcasts, assisting producers, and creating content for social media and video boards. After college, I joined the team at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Cardinals and Marlins. There, I supported media relations during Spring Training and later led social media and marketing efforts for the Jupiter Hammerheads throughout the Minor League Baseball season.
What is your favorite part about working at Zoomph?
It’s pretty rare to get to work in the sports industry and still maintain a good work-life balance, and I’m so grateful that Zoomph allows me to do that.
I’m part of the small team working on content and product marketing at Zoomph, so I do a bit of everything. However, I spend most of my time working on social media content, email campaigns, and our industry reports.
I enjoy exploring various ways to make data engaging for industry professionals. It’s a lot of numbers, but it can be interesting when presented the right way.
What is your favorite product function or tip you can share about Zoomph’s platform?
I live in the benchmark reports. It’s such a trove of good data and allows you to see all the content in any given league, conference, market, etc., without having to scroll endlessly on social media.
What are your favorite sports teams?
Notre Dame Football, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues.
What is the first sporting event you can remember attending? Is there anything special about that memory?
I don’t remember exactly what game, but I can remember going to several Cardinal games as a kid. When we sat higher up, my dad would tell us it was a better view because you could see the whole field, haha.
What is your go-to-snack during a busy workday?
Fruit, any kind really. For the summer, it’s watermelon, which I can’t get enough of at the moment.
Are there any hobbies you’d be open to sharing? Let us know what they are and why you love them!
I have been water skiing since I was a little kid. I still go a couple of times a week during the summer, and it’s one of the big reasons I moved back to my hometown.
