HubSpot + Zoomph Integration
A how-to guide for integrating Zoomph Author Cards into HubSpot to personalize your sales & marketingRequest Demo
1. Authorize HubSpot
The HubSpot + Zoomph integration unifies Zoomph’s Author Cards with your HubSpot contact list. By doing so, your sales and marketing teams can easily view a customer’s social information, recent Twitter activity, and associations to personalize your one-to-one, or targeted interactions.
For all Zoomph subscribers and non-subscribers, we offer a 30-day free trial of integration before requiring an add-on fee for unlimited access.
Please note that you must be a paying HubSpot client, or have a 30-day free trial, and be a HubSpot administrator to complete this integration.
To begin your integration, log into your HubSpot account from this page.
2. Activate Author Cards
For HubSpot clients with a 30-day free trial, or a Basic package: This step requires access to HubSpot workflows. Please contact us for help enabling this feature, which allows you to automatically match your existing and future contacts to their Author Cards.
For Pro or Enterprise clients: Once you’ve synced Zoomph with HubSpot, enter your account’s workflow edit page by clicking “Activate Author Cards” from the “Success!” modal that pops up.
From this page, turn on Author Cards by toggling the ON-OFF button in the top-left corner.
In the pop-up modal, check off “Enroll all the contacts…” and then click “Activate workflow now.”
3. View Author Cards from Your Contact List
After connecting HubSpot with Zoomph, you’ll be able to view Author Cards for all your HubSpot contacts who have Twitter usernames (which you can also input manually). Please allow 30 minutes or longer for Zoomph to map your existing contacts to their Author Cards.
Click into a contact’s full record to access the link to his or her Author Card, which should be available as a contact property. The first time you view an Author Card from HubSpot, you’ll have to grant Zoomph access to HubSpot.
To link Author Cards from the “About” section of a contact record, click “View all properties” at the bottom of “About.”
Search for “Zoomph Author Card,” and click “Add to About” to enable quick access to Author Cards from the “About” section.
Now, you’ll be able to click the link in “About” to view the customer’s Author Card, which will include his or her demographics, bio information, locations, associations, and Twitter activity. From the Author Card, you can also go to your prospect’s Twitter account and/or tweet at him or her directly.
4. Engage Your Customers More Personally
With your Zoomph-HubSpot integration, you can instantly call up the most important details of a person’s social media identity. Cut through the noise, and learn how to personalize your interactions—whether you be reaching out to a prospect for the first time, or are looking to strengthen an existing relationship.
To give you some ideas: many of our clients have used Author Cards to enhance their social selling efforts, customize their promotions, and identify top influencers.
Others have referenced our data to gain a more up-to-date understanding of personas for a campaign, or to segment contact lists by location, age, life stage (e.g., “parent”), or affinity.
Our team has personally used Author Cards to understand the trending interests among our customers. We’ve also used them to inform the content we build and share—and to even guide our product roadmap.
However way you choose to take advantage of your new integration, remember that the best type of relationship-building starts (and end) with putting your customer first. No two people in your audience are exactly alike, making it essential for you to set up a smart, scalable solution for keeping track of their most important needs.
