In this new strategic role for Zoomph, Scott will oversee centralizing research, business intelligence, and data management operations, enhance Zoomph’s internal research functions on the sports and esports industry, and streamline managed services for business insights for our clients.
Scott is a seasoned sports industry veteran, and most recently served as the Vice President, Strategy & Analytics at the Baltimore Orioles. He previously served in leadership roles at D.C. United, the Washington Nationals, and the NBA League Office. He is also a strategic advisor with NextUp Partners, a consultancy that works with startups and emerging brands within sports betting, esports, and sports tech, and with The Sports Analytics Club Program (SACP) which works to advance STEM education by working with high schools across the country to create sports analytics clubs and has been an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s Decision Sciences graduate program since 2013.
