How iHeartRadio Increased Contest Submissions with Zoomph’s Activation Tools

 

The Challenge
Macy’s and iHeartRadio set ambitious goals for the 2017 Rising Star contest. The duo aimed to increase user engagement on social media and to create “shoppable moments” that could elevate Macy’s as a fashion authority.

The Solution
Macy’s and iHeart chose Zoomph to build a microsite that showcased contestants as fashion influencers. Zoomph provided the flexibility, data, and tools for integrating "shop the look" and social voting experiences that leveraged popular artists to drive more meaningful actions on the site.

The Result
The team earned over 8.3 million votes in Round One of the competition (then another 7.2 million votes in Round Two) and 1.8 million posts across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter—a 43% and 346% increase, respectively, from the previous year’s totals.
