Zoomph Powers Social Experience for the Washington Capitals and Wizards

Today, Zoomph was named the official Social Media Partner of the Washington Capitals & Wizards!

If you’re a major Washington sports fan like us, you probably know all about Monumental Sports & Entertainment, owner of Washington’s NHL and NBA teams. You’ve also probably noticed the new and improved social capabilities, featured by the Capitals and Wizards this season.

That’s because Zoomph has been transforming the teams’ homepages into fully-interactive Social Hubs during each game!

Thousands of red and navy fans have already used Zoomph’s Visualizations to see, track, and contribute to social conversations during game time. But what users aren’t seeing are the behind-the-scenes tools that Monumental Sports & Entertainment is now leveraging to improve fan experience. Zoomph platform tools like Curation, Search, Analytics, and Social Visualizations are being utilized to augment fan engagement on web, mobile, and in-venue.

“Partnering with Zoomph in the social space provides a unique opportunity,” said Joe Dupriest, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Monumental Sports & Entertainment, owner of the Washington Capitals and Wizards. “We can now engage all of our fans online in one snapshot while offering added content.”
