Keep a Pulse on Your Social Health with Twitter Performance

While the social-sphere is spinning with talks of Twitter’s fall from grace, one thing remains certain: Twitter is the king of real-time content.

It’s the de facto strength of Twitter, even with the looming success of Snapchat, Facebook, and other social giants.

It’s the reason why 65.8% of US companies with 100+ employees still use Twitter for marketing, 92% of companies tweet more than once a day, and 60% of consumers now expect brands to respond (via tweet) to their query within the hour.

There’s a novelty to Twitter that keeps it a go-to platform for day-to-day customer engagement and organic marketing.

And while Twitter’s brightest days may lie ahead, yours are also within reach. The first step is to track what’s really resonating with your followers.

Activating Twitter Performance

Today we’re excited to announce a feature that helps you keep a record of the highs, lows, and trends in your Twitter health.

With Twitter Performance, you can view your growth in followers, retweets, likes, and replies over any range of time. (You can also request access for additional metrics, including video views and engagement.)

Access Twitter Performance from the left nav of your Zoomph account.

  1. Go to “Platform Insights” and click “Twitter Owned” from the drop-down menu.
  2. Connect your brand @handle and/or any other personal handle.
  3. Launch Twitter Performance and check back later (we recommend checking back 24 hours to see a full day’s worth of trends) for analytics on your organic tweets.

Gain Three Types of Trends Reports

Optimization begins with benchmarking your success and knowing how to set realistic goals for your team. Over time, Zoomph will automatically keep track of your average rate-of-growth across multiple key-performance indicators (KPIs).

With this data, we’ll provide three types of graphs:

  • Follower trends
  • Engagement trends
  • Overall trends

You can freely print or export a CSV file of any chart. In addition, you can choose which metrics to display on your Engagement Trend report using the legend in the top-right corner.

This tool is especially beneficial to the community manager and digital strategists who are responsible for reporting on social media and developing a strategy for improvement. You can easy show and send your Twitter diagnostics, and forecast your growth.

Individual Tweet & Audience Discovery

Below your reports, you’ll receive a breakdown of your tweets and audience members to help you put growth into context.

You’ll be able to view the number retweets, likes, and replies on your individual tweets and filter by text, photos, videos, or all tweets.

The goal is to help you understand the “why” behind your trends, and help you connect the dots between engagement and content types or distribution methods.

For an overview of the audiences you’ve attracted with your content, toggle from “Your Tweets” to “Audience.”

You can filter by the people who liked your content, retweeted you, replied to you, or followed you. Once choosing a filter, you’ll immediately get a list of handles, alongside essential Twitter profile information.

You can quickly access a more enriched profile (aka our Author Cards) by clicking any handle. Our Author Cards will help you discover a person’s affinities and behaviors in real time for better personalization, and keeping your Twitter game strong.
