Social Media Asks, “Should Ivanka Be Running for President?”

 

 

After Ivanka Trump’s riveting speech in Cleveland on Thursday, July 21, social media erupted with chatter over whether they’d found the president they’d all been waiting for.

Around 121 tweets mentioning Ivanka posted every minute, and sentiment relating to her skewed more positive than negative by a ratio of 3 to 1, according to Reuters who used Zoomph to perform its analysis.

Ivanka, the eldest daughter of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, has been an outspoken supporter of her father’s candidacy — running her course of lobbying campaigns and television spotlights. She has steadily risen as a political star in her own right. This became evident after her Thursday speech, wherein she appealed to women voters and spoke on wage equality and affordable health care.
