New Looks for Our Moderation and Sentiment Features

In preparation for the holiday season, our Moderation and Sentiment features have gussied up to look sharper and more polished than ever before.

But their beauty transcends appearances; our features have adopted new elegant designs to help enhance your experiences while interacting with them. Through improved user interfaces and adjusted navigation, you’ll enjoy an easier time cracking your analytics and staying up-to-speed with your social media activity.

Fast Filtering: If you’re at a busy event trying to monitor the constant stream of social media content that gets projected onto your live event display, things can get overwhelming really fast.

To make your job easier, we’ve embedded a filter bar on the left side of your moderation landing page that offers a quick-and-easy way to hand pick the content that you’re most interested in seeing and repurposing, e.g. are you only curious about the conversations that happened in the last five minutes? How about just the positive content published by your female audiences?

No sweat! Simply select your preferences on the filter bar, hit “Apply,” and watch your feed immediately adjust to your needs.

Pro Tip: Filtering helps you find trends amid your target audiences and assists with crisis management, i.e., by calling out content with negative sentiment, you can reject comments before they populate your event display and/or your other UGC hubs, and pinpoint users whom you should consider reaching out to in order to turn their negative experiences with your brand into positive ones.

Smooth Left-to-Right Navigation: Our updated layout allows you to move seamlessly across the page from one action to another. From the filter bar, you can move straight into viewing the posts that your feed collected, then start performing other key actions: tagging and sorting your content, rejecting and approving posts, and/or notifying your users that you’re about to share their posts!

BIGGER, Better Visuals: Without so much as a click of your mouse, you can get a beautiful full-size view of every visual that your feed collects, and rest easy knowing that whoever’s monitoring your feed won’t breeze past any images nor accidentally re-post something that you’d rather your audiences not see…

Easy Automation: Have your pick between automated moderation and automated notification. Better yet—have both! Dive into “Moderation Settings” and “Notification Settings” and explore new time-saving options to auto-reject profane and unwanted content, and/or preset your replies to fans before your event and digital campaigns are in full swing.

Three-Way Comparisons: Whether you’re at an event or sitting in your office, audience sentiment is relevant and indicative of how your brand is faring in the public’s eye.

Through our updated Sentiment’s page, you can now compare three types of sentiment– positive, negative, and objective – side by side, minute by minute.

Once you locate the moments in which your brand (or social media campaign) is receiving the best and worst types of attention, you can telescope into the exact posts that were published at that time and get a better idea of what’s causing those peaks of activity.

Pro Tip: Sentiment analysis also serves as a radar for trending topics. A spike in any sort of sentiment is a strong indicator of “breaking trends,” or new outbreaks of conversations around certain subjects.

Enriched Stats: Learn more about the users who are speaking positively, negatively, or objectively about your brand, and get the scoop on what genders, demographics, and/or social channels are aching for your attention.

Also, discover how viral sentiment is becoming– our data will give it to you straight (no sugar coating). It’ll also show you the key words, hash tags, mentions, and EMOJIS associated with each type of sentiment.
