Helping Domestic Violence Victims through Technology

The Zoomph team is honored to be a sponsor and powering the social media for the Central America Domestic Violence Hackathon, an event hosted by the World Bank.

The World Bank is hosting the hackathon, hoping to use new, innovative technologies to assist victims of domestic violence and agencies that aid those victims. The World Bank, organizations throughout Central America and Washington, D.C. will be competing in the Central America Domestic Violence Hackathon Saturday, January 26-27th.

Zoomph will be there to power the social media initiatives for the hackathon and foster the digital conversation with a custom Event Display presenting Tweets and Instagrams from the official hashtag, #DVHackathon & #VDHackathon. Zoomph will be pulling in Tweets and Instagrams in both Spanish and English. Through our Social Mashup, we ’ll feature influential photos and Tweets from the Hackathon to broadcast online.

Hackers, technology, social media and energy drinks all while supporting a great cause – what more could you want?  Get the details on how you can help here.

Stay up to date with digital conversation though the Zoomph Hackathon Social Mashup and wish our developers, Jorge and Lee, luck as they compete alongside the MetroStar Systems’ Team!
