From Irritation to Inspiration. Dove Men+Care integrates social media at NYRR

Less than 48 hours until the start of The 2013 ING New York City Marathon, featuring the country’s most enthralled runners committed to running 26.2 miles. All those miles can do damage on skin. Thankfully, not only is Dove Men+Care helping men end skin irritation for good, they will be sponsoring 3 jumbo video screens with an integrated social experience of live streaming tweets and Instagrams.

Whether you’re running or watching, the event display is designed to enhance the race’s social media experience for all runners, volunteers and fans, and bring the excitement of the Marathon to life.

This activation could not have been accomplished without the brilliance and partnership between Edelman, VaynerMedia, the New York Road Runners and Zoomph to support Dove Men+Care as Zoomph’s interactive real-time Event Displays become a part of the social media experience at the 2013 ING New York City Marathon.

Although the action will be in New York City, no need to be there this weekend to get in on the fun. You can engage with the marathon’s conversations by simply Tweeting or Instagraming using the hashtag #EndIrritation and #INGNYCM.
