BBMAs 2015: WhichTweets Had the Most Impact?

Did you miss out on the Billboard Music awards last night? Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered! Not only did we monitor the show in real-time with insight on the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, & WHEN of the show, we also used ZPoints® to determine the MOST influential tweets of the night.

Don’t have time to watch the show in its entirety? It’s ok. These tweets about sum it up. Aside from maybe searching ‘Nick Jonas Jealous BBMAs’ on YouTube :p (you’re welcome).

#BBMAs ROCKED Sunday night TV. Here are the biggest Tweets from night:

5. T-Swift + Calvin Harris = <3

T-Swift pretty much took home every award at the #BBMAs. And, her premiere of her ‘Bad Blood’ music video a sent Twitter a-blaze with over 750/TPM (tweets per minute). Music aside, the ENTIRE world could not stop talking about her & Calvin Harris’ PDA. In fact, during the show, #RelationshipGoals started trending. @OnAirWithRyan had one of the most engaging tweets with 114 ZPoints®.

4. Empire State of Mind?

No award show would be complete without an eruption on Twitter over the fashion ‘dos’ and don’ts’. @EOnline loved Taraji P. Henson’s, um, dress? And the tweeters did too – their tweet racked-up 129 ZPoints® Good or bad, whatever your opinion, Henson knew how to WERK that carpet & the internet.

1. Seating Charts > T-Swift?

Who knew black & white pictures of celebrities & “America’s Royal Family®” could have such an impact? @Billboard’s seating chart tweet was so influential, it even beat out T-Swift with 158 ZPoints®. Then again, One Direction fans don’t like to come in second very often, now do they?
