Real-Time Data is changing the Social Media Game – Vote for us @ SXSW to learn how

‘Tis that time of the year again! We mean, it is SXSW time! It seems like just yesterday when our Zoomph squad was at SXSW 2015 soaking in the sun and taking in all that the event offered through networking and learnings. Does it get any better than that?

Yes, it does.

Because this year, we have been shortlisted for not just one, two but THREE panel discussions at SXSW 2016. We are pumped to be there! Panel Picker voting opened last week and goes on until September 4th 2015 (11:59 p.m. CT)

For those of you who are not familiar with SXSW. Here’s a little background:

SXSW is, without a doubt one of the largest film, music, and emerging media event that takes place in Austin, Texas every year. The event attracts a large number of people with varied interests in new media and its recent developments. Through interesting panel discussions and keynotes, the conversations that take place shape emerging ideas from infancy into execution.

As a growing real-time social media intelligence company, Zoomph continues to make some ground-breaking strides in the field of understanding social data from its very core. As a result, we have gathered some insights that will help you use data in the right way to enrich your social media strategy.

Here are the three topics that we have been shortlisted for:

1. The Greasy Grind of Politics and Social Media

Who is speaking?

Ali Manouchehri, CEO and Founder of Zoomph, CEO of Metrostar Systems

Amir Zonozi, Chief Strategy Officer of Zoomph

What is it about?

Social media has changed American politics. As we approach the 2016 Presidential Election, it’s imperative to understand how the use of emerging social media platforms & real-time analytics is an integral part of the political grind. In this panel, we’ll discuss the ‘Power of Now’ – how political parties must embrace social media in real-time, or get left behind.

The greasy grind includes:
• Use of real-time analytics to find influencers to improve reach & ratings
• Incorporating live-streaming to listen & engage communities
• Real-time responding to build trust

Join us as we discuss the incorporation of traditional & emerging social media platforms among political parties.

2. Why Big Data Sucks: How NOW Data is a Game Changer

Who is speaking?

Ali Manouchehri, CEO and Founder of Zoomph, CEO of Metrostar Systems

What is it about?

Data shouldn’t be difficult to process or analyze. It should be transformative, inspiring, easily digestible & in real-time. But the truth of the matter is, Big data sucks & outdated data can stunt business growth. In this panel, you will discover how using real-time, large-scale data (what we call NOW data) can help you make fast & effective marketing decisions. Social Media managers, analyzers, & CMOs alike want insight on how stream processing empowers you to track real-time conversations around your brand. We have the answers. Your business is in real-time – shouldn’t your data be as well?

Join us for an inspiring talk to help you take your real-time marketing to the next level.

3. How Psychographic Mapping Predicts Social Behavior

Who is speaking?

Thomas Mathew, Chief Product Officer of Zoomph

Lee Kohn, Chief Technology Officer of Zoomph

What is it about?

Psychographics is the study of personality, which covers a person’s values, opinions, attitudes, interests, lifestyles and behavior. For marketers, ignoring this information will make efforts in reaching an influential social audience no different than the millions of spammers and bots soliciting users on social. You will likely be ignored. In this panel, we will discuss tapping into the historical social activity of your social media mavens in order to open up a rich source of indicators that can help you discover, qualify and establish positive relationships with your users for faster brand amplification and deeper market penetration.
