Rule Ecommerce with Custom Contests

Consumers are increasingly setting their sights on digital media to snag deals and to satiate their itch to buy. This year’s Cyber Monday sales underscored a big shift to online shopping, accounting for $3.45 billion sales—a 12.1% increase from last year’s Cyber Monday that tops original projections for a 9.4% growth.

Zoomph’s new Contest visualization lets you harness this trend and engage your online consumers with style. With our custom Contests, you can increase authentic word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing on the social channels that your consumers frequent, and activate multiple digital properties to deliver one immersive shopping experience.

Gamify Your Promotions & Incentivize Engagement

Freebies and mass promotions have long been used to convince, convert, and retain customers. But the expansion of social media and the web has made it possible for marketers to evolve past traditional tactics and become exponentially more creative with their selling techniques.

Digital contests, the modern spin-off of your traditional sweepstakes, have led to increased social media engagement, alongside email and feed subscribers—while offering a measurable and cost-effective way to promote business.

With a Zoomph contest, you can similarly incentivize your audience to share photo entries showing what they admire about your brand, or how they’ve used your products, for a chance to win a grand prize. All the while, our system will collect data on your participants’ demographics.

Zoomph Contest in platform

To begin creating your custom campaign, navigate to your Zoomph visuals from your dashboard and select “Contest.” From here, you’ll see a step-by-step styling module letting you customize the look and feel of your contest. You’ll also be asked to define all the CTAs and text living within your contest, enabling you to personalize the messages participants see and share about your contest. Upon creating your contest, our platform will automatically create a feed to collect analytics on entries and participants.

Moderate What Gets Displayed

Stay in control of what gets displayed publicly on your contest; your Zoomph contests will only show entries that you approve from your Moderation dashboard. Navigate to Moderation Settings to set up auto-rejecting to block any authors looking to abuse your channel.

Harness the Power of UGC & Visual Marketing

When users engage with your contest and ask their friends to vote for them, you earn a tacit endorsement of your brand. Your contest itself also serves as a rich user-generated content (UGC) hub that empowers your customers to describe your brand’s value from their point of views.

As said by Scott Cook, co-founder of Intuit, “A brand is no longer what we tell the consumer it is – it is what consumers tell each other it is.”

Zoomph contests are also optimized for photo entries, letting you maximize the medium that 46% of marketers say is critical to their current marketing and storytelling strategies.

Gain Consumer Insight

One of the biggest benefits of employing a digital contest is being able to gain rich and instant analytics into your audience.

Our platform will automatically retrieve gender, ethnicity, and generation data on your participants, helping you spot trends in participation and interest.

As always, you can use our platform to track a variety of social media cues and learn how to smartly target your contests to the right audiences.
